Some things cannot be argued into a person. A museum can publish its scholarship and still be read as a building people mean to visit one day. An experience closes that gap by making the point.
What the work covers
Concept and creative for events and formats. Stage design, venue layout and scenography. Branding across the physical footprint, from invitation to signage. Production, fabrication and on-ground execution. Documentation, so the event has a life after the evening ends.
How it runs
We design the idea and stay through execution. In practice that has meant translating paintings into scent and into non-alcoholic mixology inside a national gallery and lighting a museum's collection as its own subject. The institution's scholarship stays intact; what changes is the way in.

What does an experiential storytelling engagement include?
Concept and creative direction, scenography and venue layout, branding of the physical footprint from invitation to signage, production and on-ground execution, with documentation so the evening has a life after it ends. Henceforth designs the idea and stays through the night itself.
Has Henceforth produced experiences inside national museums?
Yes. Art Beyond Canvas at the National Gallery of Modern Art ran two editions, one translating paintings into scent and one into non-alcoholic mixology. Deepa Kala at the Salar Jung Museum was built around the lamp and chandelier collection. Each was an invite only evening with a curated creator cohort.
Can a format be staged again?
Formats are designed to hold their structure while the collection, the season or the sense at the centre changes. Art Beyond Canvas ran its second edition this way. The institution can restage it with its scholarship intact each time.
What does the institution need to provide?
The venue, the curatorial voice and the approvals. Henceforth carries concept, production, the creator cohort, hospitality and documentation. The work runs within the protocols of the institution and its custodians.
